Alabama Athletics Places 132 Student-Athletes on SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. For the seventh year in a row, the Crimson Tide ranks among the top-two in the Southeastern Conference in terms of Spring Academic Honor Roll accolades.

This fall, 195 University of Alabama students are receiving hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experiences with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA's Cooperative Education Program during the fall 2022 semester. In the Cooperative Education Program, students alternate periods of full-time study with periods of full-time employment. This program offers work related to the academic major or career interests of each student. While in school, students carry regular course schedules. While on co-op, they work with professionals in their fields who supervise their training and work. At work, co-op students earn competitive salaries and may receive benefit packages in addition to valuable job experience. Participants maintain their full-time student status while at work and have priority registration status each semester through graduation.

UA Student Sam Robson received the Rising Star of the Year Award from the Andrew Goodman Foundation.

In August 2022, 2LT Phillips graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice and a minor in Public Relations and commissioned into the Alabama Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Officer.

28 Alabama Swimmers and Divers Earn Scholar All-America Honors. The Crimson Tide's 2022 CSCAA Scholar-America total includes 17 women and 11 men with a combined 14 earning first-team honors.

In August 2022, Second Lt Frei graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice and commissioned into the United States Army Transportation Corps.

Mercy Chelangat Named 2022 USTFCCCA Outdoor Track Scholar Athlete of the Year. In addition to Chelangat's honor, both the men and women earned the team honor while a total of 22 student-athletes earned individual All-Academic recognition

Alabama's Darcy Jennings Named Big 12 Co-Scholar Athlete of the Year for Rowing. Jennings was one of a league-leading 40 Academic All-Big 12 honorees for the Crimson Tide.

The University of Alabama has received an award to implement the first ever Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange Initiative, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, partnering with Alabama A&M University in the new program.

Alabama Men's Tennis Has Perfect Showing on ITA Scholar-Athlete Team. The Crimson Tide placed all eight athletes on the ITA Scholar-Athlete Team as UA made its 10th consecutive appearance on the ITA All-Academic Team.

The International Peer Advisory Council is a group of international and domestic students dedicated to serving the international student population at The University of Alabama. Composed of both graduate and undergraduate students, IPAC helps mentor over 70 international students, fostering a more welcoming and inclusive community on campus. In addition to being peer leaders, IPAC members help facilitate events and activities for international students such as our Multicultural Coffee Hour, which features food and activities from a different country each week, creating space for intercultural dialogue. Other events that have benefitted greatly from IPAC's help include International Student Orientation, Evening Seminars, and other community service-based events.
