This summer, 199 University of Alabama students received hands-on, innovative and advanced educational experiences with dozens of companies and organizations across the United States through UA's Cooperative Education Program.

Pettry performed with the corps as a trumpet section leader. He has also twice served as a drum major in The University of Alabama Million Dollar Band.

Dani Kanas earned gold in the F46 Javelin National Championship with a season-best throw of 29.77 meters. She also earned a silver medal in shot put.

Five Alabama men's golfers have been named Cobalt All-America Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced on Monday. Connor Brown, Jonathan Griz, Nick Gross, William Jennings and Brycen Jones each earned the honor from for the Crimson Tide.

Jessica Lapinski is the recipient of the Joan L. Conroy Scholarship from Nurses Educational Funds (NEF). She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Instructional Leadership for Nurse Educators at The University of Alabama. Jessica earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from the University of Rochester School of Nursing.

The Curtis and Edith Munson Foundation has awarded Mykah Hughley, a junior at The University of Alabama's College of Communication and Information Sciences, a scholarship grant for a summer internship with Black Warrior Riverkeeper.

Eleven Student-Athletes Land on CSC's Academic All-District Team for Track and Field/Cross Country
