To honor students who are engaging with REAL Tide (UA's Record of Engagement and Learning), the Division of Student Life publishes the REAL List after each fall and spring semester. Fall 2025 is the inaugural REAL List, and it includes the Top 100 Overall engaged students and the Top 25 for each engagement wave.

To highlight this new era of campus transportation, the University held a contest for UA students to design a graphic bus wrap for the new vehicles. UA senior Jake O'Reilly won the design contest, and UA senior Reese Yarbrough of Alabaster, Alabama was selected as runner-up.
