The University of Alabama

An Air Force staff sergeant who serves her nation and community has received the 2022 Legendary Service Award from The University of Alabama Online.

In August 2022, 2LT Phillips graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice and a minor in Public Relations and commissioned into the Alabama Army National Guard as a Field Artillery Officer.

In August 2022, 2Lt Lee graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice and commissioned int the United States Army as a Field Artillery Officer.

In August 2022, Second Lt Frei graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice and commissioned into the United States Army Transportation Corps.

In December 2021, Lt Beckman graduated from UA with a BA in Criminal Justice, and commissioned in the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Officer.

The University of Alabama Air Force ROTC bested 38 other university Air Force ROTC programs for the Air Force ROTC Southeast Region Team of the 3rd Quarter award. Four UA cadets distinguished themselves by ranking in the top 10% of more than 3,400 cadets from the 145 Air Force ROTC detachments across the nation during annual field training.

In December 2021, Lt Jenkins graduated from UA with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and commissioned in the United States Air Force as a Developmental Engineer.
