Sidra Capriolo of Milwaukee Selected as University of Alabama Graduate School Influencer

Sidra Capriolo of Milwaukee has been selected as a University of Alabama Graduate School GAIN Influencer.

GAIN is a dynamic initiative that brings together engaged students from across The University of Alabama Graduate School to play a crucial role in promoting the Graduate School experience both on-campus and digitally, bolstering domestic and international recruitment efforts and enhancing overall marketing strategies.

These influencers represent The University of Alabama Graduate School online through a variety of digital marketing initiatives. These initiatives include but are not limited to:

• Creating user-generated content for institutional accounts
• Engaging with institutional social media content
• Posting to personal social media accounts
• Assisting with LinkedIn Voice and Twitter Space events
• Attending GRAD Connect sessions to represent UA Graduate School

Honored with a scholarship for their work, these students are dedicated representatives of the University of Alabama. As part of this program, GAIN Influencers will build skills in professional development, marketing, higher education recruitment, data analytics and more.

One key aspect of the GAIN influencer program is personal branding and professional development for the influencers. It is crucial as influencers for UA, they develop a brand that represents the Graduate School well and is engaging to their audience.

To assist and guide influencers in developing their personal brand, the Graduate School will sponsor the following initiatives:

• A personal branding workshop as part of influencer orientation
• GAIN/UA Graduate School branded social media headers and visuals
• Content creation guidelines and social media best practices
• Promotion of content on Graduate School social media channels
