Parnab Das of Kolkata Receives Recognition in Three Minute Thesis Competition

Parnab Das of Kolkata, , received recognition in The University of Alabama's recent Three Minute Thesis Competition. “Bacteria in the Black Belt” was the title of the presentation.

Three Minute Thesis is a research communication competition that challenges master's and doctoral students to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance in just three minutes.

The competition develops academic, presentation and research communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in language appropriate to a nonspecialist audience.
