Brentwood native Emily Huynh wins second prize and $3,000 to advance start-up business, Food Drop

University of Alabama student Emily Huynh, of Brentwood, is part of web-based grocery delivery service, Food Drop, which recently won second prize and $3,000 at the Edward K. Aldag Business Plan Competition March 31 at UA.

Food Drop competed against 40 other teams in the annual competition and was one of four teams to place. Winners received cash awards to advance their startups and space to conduct business at Tuscaloosa entpreneurship hub, the Edge, where they'll receive mentorship from business professionals.
